Welcome

About Me

My name is Pat Driscoll and I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma, a School Board Member, and a former DFL-endorsed candidate for MN House Seat 41A.  I am seeking the DFL Endorsement for MN House seat 41A again.  I lost the election by 128 votes or .05%, which is very close. I've learned a lot from my mistakes and am confident that given the chance I WILL win this seat! Please mark your calendars for March 16th when the DFL Endorsement Convention convenes at Oltman Middle School in Cottage Grove. I will be adding links to this page for volunteers and donations very soon.

I'm a wife, a mom, a grandma, and a member of the South Washington County School Board. I've lived in Minnesota all my life. I grew up in St. Paul the fourth in a family of five girls. I earned my BS degree at UW-River Falls, and my MA and Ed.S. degrees from the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul.

I was a Special Education teacher for half my career and an elementary principal for the second half. As a teacher, I taught children in grades K-12 to read. As a principal, I won an award for improving reading and math in my school. I retired in 2015  and moved to Cottage Grove near my family.

I'm running because I know I can win this seat. I am very proud of the work our legislators have accomplished in the 2023 session and hope we can do even more in 2025  I'll work hard to pass legislation that provides equity, improves our economy, and protects our environment.
